How did you become involved in the team?

Got inspired by the competition and saw the opportunity to expand the educational outreach in STEM related activities while providing students with hands-on experience in the new-space industry.

How did you become involved in the team?

I joined team Omega Envoy because being part of a team of students and sending a lander and rover to the moon is an incredible opportunity I could not pass. I have been interested in everything space / engineering related my entire life. Space is the next frontier and as part of a student team I am honored to take part in this competition.

About

Earthrise Space, Inc. (ESI) is a non-profit corporation dedicated to developing space technology in collaboration with industry and academic institutions. ESI seeks to leverage experience gained through its Omega Envoy project to create the first viable commercial lunar delivery service to support future space transportation infrastructure.

ESI provides services to private companies, government agencies, and educational institutions that have the resources to explore space and are looking for low cost products to meet their mission requirements. ESI engagement of university students in this work enhances student access to technology and increases educational interest amongst our future workforce. Through the Google Lunar X PRIZE (GLXP) and government contracts such as the Innovative Lunar Demonstrations Data (ILDD) Contract from NASA, ESI’s initiatives enable the creation of new technology and systems to support lunar exploration while increasing the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of innovative, commercial space systems.
